After years of working in fashion, I decided to quit my corporate career and follow my dreams of working with flowers. I landed at Boston's premier florist,Winston Flowers, and trained under Master Designer, Rob Moran, in Chestnut Hill. After years of living in Boston, my husband and I moved to Maine to focus on our art. I spent the next 14 years running high end flower shops and consulting small businesses while simultaneously building my lifestyle brand, Minka. My extensive experience as a buyer has given me the ability to source the best quality products from the most reliable wholesalers and distributors at the best prices. I maintain strong relationships with the top wedding vendors in the industry due to my professionalism and impecable design work.
As a floral designer, my number one priority is to make sure your vision is brought to life. After years of working with many different types of clients, the most important thing I've learned is to listen. I will then guide you through the creative process while offering ideas and solutions that are within the theme and budget of your event.
